PEER SUPPORT PROGRAMME

(Student Buddy Programme)

Peer Support Programme consists of voluntary students (Student Buddies) who help international students. A Student Buddy will be appointed on the student’s request, and their work starts from the moment the student receives the welcome email.

A student buddy is a voluntary student of TLU who helps foreign students with administrative questions, as well as in getting to know Estonian culture. They have answers for questions regarding transportation, banking, shopping, healthcare, and, of course, university. The student buddy knows where to go and what to do, and they are ready to answer all your queries about life in Estonia.

As the first thing, a buddy can come and pick the student up from the airport/bus station and help them get to their dormitory/ hostel or their flat.

During the semester, student buddies and active club members organize events to introduce Estonian culture, such as sauna evening, various tours, workshops, as well as trips to different parts of Estonia.

All Tallinn University students and alumni are welcome to become a student buddy via Peer Support Programme or join International Club as a helping member!
